Please make sure you check the "Build packages" option when installing and that you recompile any package that depends on a JVCL one.

I tried uninstall and recomplied JVCL with checked "Build packages".
But, the result did not change.

Ok.
Option "unit versioning" has no link whatsoever with the Jvversioncontrolactions file.
In this case, there are two probable causes:

1. You have another package outside the JVCL that requires JvCtrls and that was not recompiled.
2. You have an old version of a JVCL bpl file registered in the IDE.

In case 1, recompile that other package.
In case 2, remove the registration (via HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\BDS\5.0\Known Packages)

I can't think of any other reason for such a message.

Installation succeeded.
The cause was I had not deleted the packages under $(BDSCOMMONDIR)\BPL at the time of uninstallation.
At re-installation, It seems need to delete the packages under $(BDSCOMMONDIR)\BPL.

I caused trouble. Thank you!

No worries.
Deleting the BPL should not be necessary, but it can help at times, yes.
