| Description | i have an app DBGridExcelExport (beta1) to export a grid to an excel sheet, it worked fine with office2000, changing to officexp made it export a blank sheet without any data, testing RC1 has the same effect, it creates the sheet but blank, the other exports (word,cvs,html) still work fine with office xp, i think it is a bug.. | ||||

This occurs also in the example DBGridExport.dpr that ships with JVCL in the folder examples where all exports function correctly except Excel export.. |

What version of Excel is this? I tried with an Excel that is labeled Excel 2002 (10.2614.4219) SP-2 and it worked just fine. |

it's Excel 2002 without sp2, maybe the problem is with the absence of sp2? i will check it with office 2003 and post the results.. |

Tested with Office 2003 (Excel) and functions OK, it seems the problem is with the version of Office and not the component, this issue can be considered closed. |
