| Description | I use Windows XP Pro SP2 and Delphi 7 Personal Edition. I have Administrator privledges. When i try to install JVCL&JCL using JEDI 3 Installation program, en error occurs. I put log from installator in 'Additional Information' box. | ||||

Hi! I resolved that problem in another way.. just before installation you need to compile in delphi (manually) file "DJclVcl.dpk" in JCL\packages\d[x]\ folder, then run installator. But why doesn't install program do that? Greets |

As indicated in the user manual, the JCL MUST be installed before the JVCL. The JVCL will NOT call the JCL installer, hence the reason why you have to do it yourself |
