|0003419: Hint property editor from old RX Lib is not included in JVCL
|The old RX Lib contained a hint property editor which allowed for multi-line hints. It added functionality to not only the RX components but any TLabel descendant component. It was not included as part of the JVCL and therefore the RX Lib must remain installed for users that have applications that take advantage of multi-line hints. This property editor should be included with the JVCL.

Are you sure you selected the "register global design editors" option when installing the JVCL?
It is not selected by default as it may conflict with other libraries. Choose this option and it will be registered.
|You are right. I must not have had the "register global design editors" box checked when installing. I reinstalled with that box checked and the hint editor is present even after deleting the RX Lib components. Perhaps that installation option should be defaulted to true if it is not already.
|This was discussed a long while ago and it was decided to have them NOT registered by default because it generally confuses users and may trigger conflicts with other components.
