I want to know if legally i can change in the component all calls to methods from string to pChar, because if so i have to create another component with all your code but with another name. |

Why create another component? Just creat another "kind" of package. Right now, there is Package and DLL. Create the PCharDLL kind and leave the rest alone. |

Do i need to change the properties of the components from string to PChar or only the methods and functions that are called from the app to the dll? |

YOu don't have to change the properties. Only the signatures of the functionns exported by the DLL plugin are to be changed, hence the limited number of changes. |
