Summary | 0004279: Strange JvDBGrid behaviour
Description | PLATFORM: BD7 Build 8.1 OS: WINXP PROF. While developing a DB application I've noticed strange behaviour of JvDBGrid and JvDBUltimGrid. I've used CDS datasets for a master/detail form. Here are the issues: 1) Scrolling with mouse wheel in the JvDBGrid makes the scrollbars strangely dissappear. Its only after you click in the scrollbar area or on the scrollbar buttons that they re-appear again. 2) For cached updates I've used DataSetProvider and CDS components with master/detail relationships. Browsing from one record to another makes the JvDBGrid freeze ie. you have to move the focus first to another control in a form and then back to JvDBGrid. Additionally JvAppStorage and JvIniStorage components have also been used to save JvDBGrid settings and restore them on application startup. Im not aware of whether this issue has been fixed in JVCL 3.33.
