Summary0004728: Colud not install JCL for delphi 7 on Vista
DescriptionI use Delphi 7 with windows Vista. I downloaded JVCL 3.36 from sourceforge.net (file JVCL336CompleteJCL1104-Build3248.zip). I run "install.exe" from the folder "jcl" and install JCL package without any errors. When i try to run Delphi7, i see error message "This application has failed to start because JCL70.bpl was not found". I checked BPL folder. File "JCL70.bpl" there is in this folder. BPL-folder included in windows environment variable "path". I deinstall delphi and re-install delphi with JCL, but nothing happend. When i installed this package on WinXP a had not any problems.
How can i solve this problem?

Does your Delphi has its own PATH environment variable (Tools/Environment options/Environment) ?

You was right.
I checked a PATH environment variable in delphi. At first step(clear delphi with standart packeges) PATH parameter doesn't include BPL-directory. It's very strange. I included BPL directory to the PATH parameter installed JVCL component. It works. I could not understand why in WINXP BPL-directory include in PATH environment by default. May be include stage "checking PATH environment parameter" in JVCL installing process.
