Summary0005104: Unable to install JVCL (JCL not found)
DescriptionHi!

I was just trying to install JCL and JVCL on my fresh Delphi 2010 installation.
I updated both JCL and JVCL from the SVN repo.
JCL in rev.: 3117
JVCL in rev.: 12671

JCL has been installed without any problems but I was unable to install JVCL.
The JVCL installer displayed the following message:
"JCL 2.1 or higher not installed" and I was not able to go to the Next step.

Regards,
Mateo

Hmm...
Or perhaps it is something wrong with JCL.
Although the JCL installer reported that the installation was successful I cannot find any bpl files in my BPL folder.

Maybe because you did not select the packages in the installer

I think everything necessary was selected (see the screenie).

Additional info:
Today I decided to delete my both folders for JCL and JVCL and download files once again, afresh.
And this time after trying to run the JCLs Install.bat I got an error that JediInstaller.exe could not be found.
So seems there was a problem compiling the installer(?)

JCL: 3117
JVCL: 12675
TortoiseSVN 1.6.6, Build 17493 - 64 Bit

Heh, "Command line tools are not supported in the trial version"
That's funny. Really funny.
Seems we have the reason.
So how could we call the trial version fully-functional?

Then you must have had an error message saying why the installer was not compiled.

That's indicated in the readme file...

I've been using Delphi and Jedi for a few years and this is the first time I decided to try the trial version and... surprise!

Anyway, forgive me for submitting this task :(

No worries, thanks for confirming this came from using a trial version
