| Summary | 0005327: JvDBGrid Export for .doc and .xls does not export if M$ Office not installed .. | ||||
| Description | Can be reproduced with the demo for JvDBGridExport componentes if M$ Office is not installed. I have Open Office 3.2 installed and i want to export them to that format to view them with the suite, but no way to perform that. In turn html, txt, or xml exports do very good. I think because the components rely on OLE or something like that.. I use JVCL 3.4 Thanks for a superb componentes suite :) | ||||

I suggest using the trick in code central to remove ole dependency http://cc.embarcadero.com/item/13462 |

Well, sorry, no, we won't change this dependency, there are required functionalities that are not in the proposed fix |
