|0005381||JEDI VCL||02 Installation||public||2010-10-26 12:48||2011-06-07 17:33|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0005381: Windows7 installation fails|
|Description||New PC, New Win7 Premium installation, D2009 installed, logged in as Admin. |
Tried to install JCL/JVCL. Both install.bats fail with 'The system cannot find the path specified.' x2
While trying to trace problem I found that commenting out the @echo off line at the start of the bat files allowed the installation to run normally.

||This is very strange. I can't see any reasons why the "echo" command would be missing|
Me neither. It may be that the change was more subtle, perhaps changing the bat in any way would have cured it. However JEDI is now installed and I don't want to uninstall everything to test it!
Call it closed?
i have the same probléme using seven 7 x64.
i proced to a manual installation, but many ressource files ( *.res) are not consideration
||For the JCL, I removed these lines in revision 3420.|
||@outchy: If it is the "@echo off" then there is something really strange going on on their system. My Windows 7 64bit has no problem with the "@echo off". I have more the impression that there is a UAC problem at work. Changing and saving the install.bat will move it to a writable location.|
||No news, assuming this is fixed|
