| Description | ShowCilumnDialog is too simple. Maybe it will be good to add things like AlternativeRowColor, AlternativeRowFontColor and also some basic operations like renaming columns and setting up their colors, alignment and so on... What you think about this. And all it will be done with Grid.ShowSetupDialog... Simply by default I always save Grid.Columns in AppStorage.. so it will verry cool if users can fully customize their grids. Maybe I can provide ready source for form-editor to integrate... | ||||

There is the demo of my variant. It is not ideal I think and I don't know if it is good for Jedi... |

oh.. Forgot to add support for options for Column setup (enable/disable feature). All another features can be disabled through options of every form. |

I think that it will be better if I will handle this source in some way.. And I think that we need to implement this like separate Component (TjvGridSetupDialog) - because it works not only with TjvDBGrid - all is dinamically checked. Only what you need is Assign Grid property of component.. How you think? |

I'm not a Delphi user, so I can't test your source code. Anyway, the best thing would be to develop an unit that integrate seamlessly with the other JVCL controls, and that I can copy in my run directory and build with the installer. Otherwise, I'm not sure that someone will have enough time to rework your proposal to integrate it into the existing code. Fred |

I created Component, also tested it by putting it into the package. It works. but it is possible that there are some corrections required to integrate it to JVCL. Maybe obones can do this or other delphi developer... |
