| Description | I'm using TJvMainMenu with msXP style. A user recently reported that the menu is extremely slow to paint -- one line at a time -- when running under Vista (see his description in the additional info.) I've searched for any known problems and found 3992 and 4202. Could this problem be related? | ||||
| Additional Information | "When the mouse cursor is placed over a menu topic such as FILE, EDIT, etc, nothing happens until a left mouse click. The drop down menu opens as normal. However, when sliding over to the next menu topic, the drop down menu VERY VERY SLOWLY opens one agonizing line at a time and just as quickly closes the entire menu after the last item unfolds. If one were to click on FILE and open that dropdown and then click again on file and close it, the next topic works normally if handled the same way. Only problem is when using the mouse focus to automatically open the menu item and system drops to a crawl and nothing else can be done until it finishes its thing." | ||||

On issue 4202, I noticed that obones said this issue should be fixed with the latest version of JvMenus from svn, so I've retrieved revision 11460 and am testing with that. |

I've been told the latest version (11460) from SVN worked fine, with the menus behaving normally. Thanks! |
