Do you use the JVCL glyph editor? In that case, try opening the glyph editor form in Delphi and see if you get any errors. It is in \design\JvPictureEditForm.pas

I don't think that I use JVCL glyph editor - I haven't done anything special to do so. The error began in a recent update of the JVCL.
The editor don'r have the JVCL icon in the upper left corner - so it must be delphi standard editor?
I don't get any errors when opening \design\JvPictureEditForm.pas.

The JVCL Glyph Editor is used if you have enabled "Register global design editors" in the installer (or check common\jvcl.inc if the option JVCL_REGISTER_GLOBAL_DESIGNEDITORS} is active).

If you're not using the JVCL editor, I don't know why you are getting this error. Maybe recompiling the JCL/JVCL packages will help...

I don't think it's a specific component causing the problem but it could be one of the JVCL design editors. So, first of all we need to determine whether you use the JVCL glyph editor or the standard Delphi glyph editor.

Also, please tell if this error occurs with any component or just with JVCL components?

Mhhh. (Nu ises weg....)
On my machine it works now. It was with JVCL design editors.
Next time I report it immediately.

So, what has changed?

I'm using standard Delphi editor - haven't checked "Use JVCL Editors" in installation.
I have downloaded the latest JCL+JVCL of 08.mar 2004, reinstalled and the problem is still there. It's not only JVCL components, but also standard Delphi components.

If you uninstall JCL/JVCL, does the problem go away?

If I goto "Component -> Install packages" and removes all JCL/JVCL components, the problem still is there?
But in my memory the problem came when I upgraded JVCL - maybe I'm wrong.

If the problem is still there after uninstalling JCL/JVCL, the problem lies elsewhere.

This bug has not had any activity for more than a month, it is therefore considered closed.
To the original poster: If you think the issue is still there, even after having tested with the JVCL3, please create a new bug report.
