The .po files are not up to date. So please wait updating jvcl.po. |

i have new create default.po with menu extract traslation to template from jvcl\install directories, open and translate all strings, and renamed JVCLInstall.po and replaced in JVCL\locale\fr\LC_MESSAGES\ directories, and tested install to track a string no/bad translated in french, it's not good ? I have work a every time (5 hours) for translating and verifying all visible string be translated in french for install. If i'ts not good, sorry ...... i wanted to help to translating .... :-( |

It's fine. Andreas just assumed you took the existing JVCLInstall and translated it. BTW, I also extracted a new JVCLInstall for the swedish strings because I noticed that there were some missing when I ran the installer. I'll make sure to update it in CVS. Thanks! |

how i can exactly procedure to product a good jvcl.po and JVCLInstall.po ? I'm not sure i have to do ! i have dxgettext and poedit installed? Can you help me? can you describe me exactely then procedure to obtain a good .po for both? I translate after and post here ! the documentation help is not very clean to do that for translation ... (need to update i think...) And how i can delete strings not need with poedit? i wait your response. Regard, nanotonne nanotonne@free.fr |

warning !!! i have see probably bug, welcome.txt file can't be translate for the jvcl installer !!! and at first page, the message "The JEDI Visual Component Library (JVCL) consists of a large collection (currently ca. 500) visual and non-visual components which can be instantly .....blablabla....... " can't translate : unabled ! how to do that? if ia create a .po for only this file .txt, i have a error and a .po with no strings to translate (french), it's VOID !!!!!!!! You should be fine using poedit. > And how i can delete strings not need with poedit? This is a weakness of poedit. I usually just open the .po with Notepad and delete the entries I don't need. |

The welcome.txt file is obsolute. The text was in the executable from the beginning. Later the Installer used the welcome.txt if it exist else it uses the internal resourcestring. The newest version of the Installer has no welcome.txt. |
