| Description | With some combination of initial settings on the TJvComboBox it won't initialise and causes an exception. When it is causing an exception it causes it 100% of the time. Getting it to cause it is a bit more trickier. It seems related to the length of the some the Hint and or name field. It has happened on at least three boxes I added, and then when I went back and reconstructed the form to find out what was doing it, it OK until suddently it reappeared. eg on one box I am using the following, but when I tried reconstructing the box to repeat it, it was OK. Hint: Total Window Length - The total number of samples (in seconds) Name: JcbWindowLengthTot I'm on a modem away from my usual DSL line, so if anybody is going to look at this I can be got at neilh01@wllw.net | ||||

This problem only occured when I run on my portable Win XP Home - which is on a HP ZE4600 (AMD) It was on on my usual development machine - a Win 2000 Professional. So I've transferred my development environment to the portable to try and track it down. To verify the problem I single stepped through the initialisation calls, until I located the form doing it. |

Have you tested this with JVCL 3.00? We no longer bug fix older versions... |

I have the same problem with TjvImageComboBox! And I uploaded an Delphi example. I use JVCL 2.10 and Win XP Prof. SP 1. I don't tested this with JVCL 3.00, but i will do this next time. |
