Summary0001871: TJvFilenameEdit makes 216 error when Application Starts.
DescriptionAt Delphi Starts, new Applicatoin is on.
So, I just add a TJvFilenameEdit Component.
and Just RUN. any codes are not written. just one component is added.

For every 10 times (about), at compiled application starts, 216 error occured.
The message is

Runtime error 216 at 0040319E

and Application didn't launch;
Additional InformationOS : Windows XP sp1, Korean.
Delphi : Delphi 7 Enterprise ed.
JVCL ver : 2.10. and applied fix 1.
CPU : Xeon 2.8G dual CPU(hyper Threading on)
RAM : 1G.

Did you also report 0001867? If you did, I'd suggest reinstalling Delphi/JVCL since I suspect it is a problem on your machine (I am not able to reproduce either problem).

It's my first report.
And Not only on mine, but also my partner's and friend's computer.

I think that If you are not able to reproduce a problem.. maybe a problem on Windows XP Korean.

I'll try to reinstall. and re-Report.

Could be. I don't have XP myself, so I can't test. Maybe someone else with non-Korean XP can test this as well? That would be great.

Could it be that the old JvToolEdit.pas uses JclSysInfo.pas? And this has a bug when started on fast processors.

Here JVCL 3 on a 3GHz HT, WinXP (German) the component work as expected.

216 Error is usually an error in a thread, and can be the result of the JclSysInfo bug. Feeback is needed though
