| Description | In the JVCL pack do't has a Form desinger yet.I know in R&A pack have a RAFD form desinger,the R&A pack was added to JVCL pack,but i can't find the RAFD added into JVCL PACK,where is it ? maybe your will write a new form desinger for JVCL? | ||||

The form designer was removed because it breached Borland licence agreement. It was putting design time packages code into the release packages, thus putting it in the final applications. This is strictly forbidden and this is why we removed it. Noone ever expressed the need for something like this and noone ever actually volunteered to create one from scratch. |

> What is extlib? What do you mean? See http://swiss.torry.net/packslite.htm - "Extension Library v.2.1 by Evgeny Balabuyev" and "ExtLib Design-time form editing engine v.2.2 by Dageek". These are not based on Borland design packages, so dosen't breach the license. I once asked Evgeny if we could include them in JVCL and he said no because the rights to the code had been bought by a commercial company. The Dageek version is based on Evgenys work, so without Evgenys permission, there is no use including the 2.2 package either. |

Well, if the author cannot (or does not want to) donate the component set, we won't "cannibalize" it and we won't accept any code based on it. I then consider this issue closed |

Unless someone comes up with a ready made donation that does not use Borland's design packages and can be distributed under the MPL license, we won't put any effort in doing such a big development. |
