Summary | 0002196: "Enabled" property of TJvXPBarItems does not work
Description | No matter if you set the property to False at design or runtime, it has no effect. The text is greyed out, but if you click on it the item becomes enabled again. The control is sitting on a modal form, BTW.
Additional Information | D7 Pro, WinXP Sp2

I can't reproduce this. Are you using actions? |
|
No, I don't use actions in this context, but the TJvXPBars and their items are sitting on an XPContainer, which itself sits on a groupbox. If I set the Enabled property to false at runtime (within the OnClick event of the JvXPBarItem), the item is greyed-out correctly when I click on it. But when I click on it a second time, it gets enabled again. If you like I can post a small example project to the binaries group. Just let me know. |

Hi Peter Forget it, now it works. There was some code in my project that influenced the item state which I overlooked. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
|
No problem. The important thing is that it was solved |
