| Description | Something must have gone wrong in the latest version of the DB Transfer utility (downloaded from unstable build). When I try to start transfer from DBIsam to Firebird, it fails with an SQL Error message (complains about unknown column name transactid). In the version shipped with RC1, it works. | ||||

The current version doesn't check for transactid any longer. This was changed on 14.07.2004. DBTransfer isn't available as unstable build at the moment but I guess your unstable version is older. Unfortunately the RC2 does not contain a newer version of DBTransfer - it's the same DBTransfer as in RC1. Could you compile DBTransfer by you own (DBISAM and FIBPlus components are available as trial) and try it again? |

There is for sure a version of DBTransfer at: http://jedivcs.sourceforge.net/download_unstable_binaries.html with a date of 2004-07-08! So I guess the only thing we need is someone to update the unstable binaries ;) So maybe you or THuber could update the binaries and then we'll close the issue. |

Well the server's aren't available as unstable builds and thatswhy I thought that applys for DBTransfer too. I've checked that unstable version. The error is "Can't change sql text because SelectQuery dataset open." and not unknown column name transactid. The "Can't change sql text..." bug is solved and a new DBTransfer will be part of RC3 which will be available soon. |

Checked that most recent DBTransfer utility will be included in JVCS 2.40 RC3 |
