| Description | Currently, the DesktopAlert component will only be displayed on top of the current application. If applications are switched while an alert is displayed, the alert disappears into the background. I have modified the constructor of TJvFormDesktopAlert to change its parent to the desktop on creation, thus the alert windows will always show on top and won't be affected by application switching. | ||||

I merged your file's differences with the current CVS version; there is a bug with my system, the fade effects don't work anymore : - the window appears ok. - it fades completly into black. - then it fades ok. Fade effects seems to be exchanged if ParentWindow is changed. My system is JVCL and JCL CVS up to date, Delphi 7 pro, Windows 2000 Pro SP4 up to date. |

To Henning: Please indicate if you see the same issue as Outchy. If yes, then please try to fix it, as this issue is not acceptable. |

No answers, the fix is not acceptable, the issue is "resolved-won't fix". Should you come up with a better solution, please post a new issue. |
