Summary | 0003499: Split the dynamic linking of setupapi.dll in different groups of functions
Description | The library setupapi.dll contains many functions that were introduced during the Windows development. The current implementation of jvcl\common\setupapi.pas tries to load all functions, which may fail on old systems. These functions could be divided in various groups that doesn’t require other groups to be present in the library.

Any news on this? |
|
The above is simply not true (anymore?). windowsversion.inc is set to Win98Gold level so all components using setupapi.pas run on Win98 and cannot use functions which were introduced later (no component in JVCL doing that). AFAIK Win95 support is not relevant anymore. |

You are right, the child issue is not trigerring any problems anymore. |
