Please make sure you check the "Build packages" option when installing and that you recompile any package that depends on a JVCL one. |

I tried uninstall and recomplied JVCL with checked "Build packages". But, the result did not change. |

Ok. Option "unit versioning" has no link whatsoever with the Jvversioncontrolactions file. In this case, there are two probable causes: 1. You have another package outside the JVCL that requires JvCtrls and that was not recompiled. 2. You have an old version of a JVCL bpl file registered in the IDE. In case 1, recompile that other package. In case 2, remove the registration (via HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\BDS\5.0\Known Packages) I can't think of any other reason for such a message. |

Installation succeeded. The cause was I had not deleted the packages under $(BDSCOMMONDIR)\BPL at the time of uninstallation. At re-installation, It seems need to delete the packages under $(BDSCOMMONDIR)\BPL. I caused trouble. Thank you! |

No worries. Deleting the BPL should not be necessary, but it can help at times, yes. |
