Summary | 0000465: Feature request for TJvDBGrid with RowSelect: Keep steady when clicking/scrolling
Description | Here's a nuisance I'd love to see removed from TJvDBGrid. With Options.dgRowSelect=True, whenever I click a row or click-down/move the scrollbar, the grid snaps back to starting at the first column. However, when I click a scroll-arrow, this snapping back doesn't occur. I'd like to see this snapback not occur in any case.

Does the normal DBGrid exhibit the same behaviour? |
|
Yes, the normal DBGrid exhibits this (I believe errant) behavior (tested in both D5-SP1 and D7). Since JVCL is establishing a fine tradition of not only enhancing, but fixing the flaws in VCL components, it would be very cool if this behavior were corrected. |

He,he flattery can get you far! Unfortunately, I positively hate DB controls myself: I never use them and I try to avoid them as much as I can. Maybe someone else steps up and take on the challenge? edited on: 11-21 03:17 |

Another note: This problem also occurs when a column is resized. |
|
I haven't found a solution to this problem. Do you have any suggestions? |

Thanks to Flemming Brandt Clausen, this issue seems to be resolved now. Fix is in CVS |
