Have you installed all the updates for your version of Delphi? |

first i have uninstalled delphi7 which i also own, later i also reinstalled delphi6 to be 'solo'. yes, it is after official Update#2, and RTL Updates #2 & #3 also tried with only official Update#2 installed. no luck. |

Your JVCL path seems very long. The Delphi compiler has a bug that causes the compiler to overwrite memory if the path combined with a hint/warning/error message exceeds the maximum buffer size. (This bug was fixed with Delphi 2005) Especially the "Hint: Undeclared identifier: 'der'" makes me wonder about this because an undeclared identifier is not a hint but an error. |

i have just installed 3.37 from the shorter path (C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi6\Packages\JVCL337) thanks for fast help. |
