| Description | I have tried several times to copy info from an mp3 (id3 tag v1.x to id3 tag v2.x) and the artist doesn't copy. The other way around works perfectly. | ||||
| Additional Information | which are the coresponding fields that i should match in order to corectly copy the info from one tag to another? for example in id3v11 there is a field for Artist and in id3v2.x there is a field called Band. | ||||

Hi, the artist is mostly in Tag "TPE1". p.s.: iTunes and increasing number of applications use the "TPE2" tag for another information called "Album Artist" |
